We remain diligent in our fight against coronavirus (COVID-19) and the health and safety of our patients, caregivers and communities is our top priority.
While we understand the importance of in-hospital patients having family members and loved ones by their side, our temporary visitor policies are necessary in order to best protect patients and those providing care.
As HCA Houston Healthcare hospitals continue to respond to COVID-19 and the health of our communities, we have initiated the safe and deliberate return of medically necessary surgeries and procedures in accordance with Governor Abbott's updated Executive Order of Friday, April 17.
As the COVID-19 public health crisis continues to escalate, HCA Houston Healthcare is implementing universal masking for all colleagues and providers in patient care areas. Our top priority is protecting our patients, clinicians, nurses, and colleagues so we can best serve our communities through the duration of this pandemic. These new guidelines apply to all areas of our patient care facilities, not just those where suspected COVID or COVID-positive patients are being treated.
