Anush Pillai, DO, Program Director

Dr. Pillai earned his degree at University of North Texas's Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board certified in family medicine. He practices full-scope family medicine and has a special interest in procedures and evidence-based medicine. He has published several articles, books, and book chapters and serves as a reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals as well as on several committees, commissions, and boards in his efforts towards advocacy. He has been actively involved in resident and student education since 2004.

Meer Ahmed, MD

Dr. Meer Ahmed was born in Bangalore, India and obtained his medical degree at Bangalore Medical College. He completed his residency in family medicine at UMDNJ Hoboken Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Ahmed completed his fellowship in Hospital Medicine at Methodist Hospital in Baytown, TX. He is board-certified in family medicine as well as sleep medicine.

Jean Bombach, MD

Dr. Bombach has over 20 years of experience and is devoted to caring for patients and being their primary care physician. She was born in El Paso, Texas, graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University and went on to graduate from UT Houston Medical School. Dr. Bombach completed a residency in Baytown, Texas at the San Jacinto Methodist Family Practice Residency.

Carol Gambrill, DO

Dr. Gambrill was born and raised in Anadarko, Oklahoma. After attending medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her internship and residency at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. She is dually board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Rajalakshmi Natarajan MD

Dr. Natarajan received her medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College & Hospital at Chennai, India. She trained in family medicine at the New Orleans School of Medicine at Lake Charles, Louisiana, and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her interests include women’s health, preventative medicine, and weight management.

Elizabeth Suniega MD

Dr. Suniega is a family medicine physician that graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland prior to being awarded the Health Professions Scholarship and a commission into the US Army. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed a residency at the Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Georgia.
