Hillary Boswell, MD, Program Director, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology

Dr. Ziad Haidar, MD

Dr. Haidar is a double board-certified Obstetrician Gynecologist and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist who serves as a clinical associate professor at the University of Houston/ HCA Healthcare Houston West OBGYN residency program. He has a special interest in doing research on morbidly adherent placentas and his clinical interest involves antenatal fetal diagnosis. He also enjoys caring for patients with a wide range of high risk medical, obstetrical and fetal complications. Dr Haidar is married and is the proud father of three handsome sons. In addition to spending time with them, he is a writer and also enjoys traveling.

Dr. Craig Witz, MD

Dr. Witz is a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist.  He trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and later served as the division chief in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.  Dr. Witz has significant experience in basic science and clinical research.  He has been awarded numerous teaching awards by medical student classes and Ob-Gyn residents.  Dr. Witz's presently serves as the Director of Clinical Research for the Houston Fertility Institute.  

Jorge P. Orezzoli

Jorge P. Orezzoli, MD FACOG

Dr. Orezzoli is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist since 2015. He has developed a carrier in academia with several original research publications in major journals. He has always been actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. Since graduation in the United States, he has concentrated his career in delivering the high quality care to the underserved patient population in Texas. He is married and has three little children. His hobbies include music, computer projects and grilling Argentinean-style for friends and family.

Romany Gawargious Hana MD, FACOG 

Dr. Romany Hana is a core faculty member of the HCA Houston Healthcare West/ University of Houston Program; board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a special  interest in infertility. Dr. Gawargious- Hana has several years of experience in medical Education as an Assistant Professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and currently services as faculty at the University of Houston College of Medicine. Dr. Gawargious- Hana is married with three beautiful children.

Dr. Lydia Kao

Dr. Lydia Kao, MD

Dr. Kao is a board-certified OB/GYN with academic and practical experience. She is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine. Her goals include helping women through all stages of their lives in a compassionate, evidence-based manner and to pass on her knowledge and skills to junior physicians. She is currently the resident liaison at Houston Healthcare West. Some of Dr. Kao’s hobbies are DIY projects, CrossFit, and playing guitar.

Dr. Eric Peterson

Dr. Eric Peterson, MD

Dr. Peterson has over 25 years of experience practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology.  He attended The University of Texas for undergrad and completed his doctorate from Southwestern Medical School.  Dr. Peterson is the Medical Director for the Mednax OB hospitalist program and works intimately with the residency program.  He is married and has three daughters and enjoys fly-fishing, cycling and golf in his spare time.

Katherine Bolt, MD

Katherine Bolt, MD

Dr. Katie Bolt is happy to serve as the Family Planning Subspecialty Educator for the HCA Houston OBGYN Residency Program.  Dr. Bolt received her medical degree in 2009 at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine in San Antonio.  Upon graduating, she attended the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the Methodist Hospital in Houston.  From residency, she grew a successful private practice with Partners in OBGYN Care at Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women in the Houston medical center.  Dr. Bolt has transitioned away from private practice and now focuses on providing patients with a full range of family planning services and complex contraception.   She also serves an under insured patient population at Legacy Community Health, a local federally qualified health clinic. In addition to routine office gynecology and obstetrics care, she runs the loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) clinic at Legacy.  Dr. Bolt met her husband during college at UT Austin.  Together they have three young children and spend most of their time with them at ballet classes and baseball games.
