Breast diagnostics

Solis Mammography, a department of HCA Houston Southeast, provides the most advanced mammography technology in the area. Mammograms are performed as both a screening test in women without symptoms and as a diagnostic test to make a diagnosis in women with symptoms, like a lump or change in breast shape.

3D stereotactic biopsy

A stereotactic biopsy is a minimally invasive procedure that gathers tissue samples from a breast abnormality detected by a mammogram, ultrasound or MRI.

The breast imaging specialists at Solis Mammography, a department of HCA Houston Southeast, use this technique to take several small samples of an area in your breast tissue for further examination.

Bone densitometry

Bone density testing can help determine if patients have or are at risk for osteoporosis. The X-ray scan can determine if bones are starting to thin before a break occurs. Patients and their doctors can then determine their best plan of action to slow or reverse the process.
