Patients and visitors

For your convenience, an ATM is located on the first floor, outside the cafeteria and at the entrance to the medical office building.

Free wireless network access is available for our patients and visitors.

Translation services are provided at no cost to the patient or patient’s family. This service includes written and sign language assistance.

Letters and packages for patients are delivered to their room. If mail is received after a patient is discharged, we will notify the patient.

Patient rooms are equipped with a telephone, TV and safe for your valuables. Patients are encouraged to leave all valuables and personal property at home.

To provide a safe and healthy environment for our patients and their visitors, HCA Houston Mainland has a zero tolerance policy for violence. Security representatives are located in the hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Parking is free. Patients and visitors should refrain from parking in reserved or restricted areas. Please lock your car and do not leave valuables in your vehicle.

Visitors are encouraged to visit between 9:00am and 9:00pm.

We have waiting areas for family members visiting loved ones in the intensive care unit (ICU), surgical services department and emergency department. Several waiting areas have TVs and coffee machines.

Our cafeteria is located on the first floor, past registration.

Monday through Sunday:

Breakfast hours: 7:00am to 9:00am

Lunch hours: 11:00am to 2:00pm

The cafeteria is closed for dinner.

The Bistro Café, located on the first floor of the main lobby, is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 10:00am.

Vending machines are located near the cafeteria dining room.
