Our emergency care program
At HCA Houston Medical Center, our cardiac catheterization laboratory is fully equipped with advanced imaging equipment and a patient monitoring system. If a higher level of care is needed, HCA Houston Healthcare's AirLife helicopter service also provides medical air transport to other healthcare facilities.

In addition to our main hospital emergency department, we serve the Medical Center and surrounding communities through our HCA Houston ER 24/7 locations in the Heights, Memorial City, Montrose and Bellaire. A department of HCA Houston Medical Center, these four locations offer full-service emergency care and access to on-site laboratory testing and imaging services. These locations are open 24/7, including holidays, accept most major insurance plans and can treat all types of acute injuries and illnesses.
While emergency rooms are designed to treat patients with critical conditions and life-threatening injuries, those experiencing minor injuries or illnesses may want to seek urgent care.
