HCA Houston Medical Center's ER is a 21-bed facility, equipped with the latest technology to deliver high-quality care to our patients. Our emergency room physicians, nurses, and staff are trained to provide exceptional care in emergency, life-threatening situations.

The emergency room at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center can handle a wide range of emergencies, including acute illness and injury.

  • Heart attack: HCA Houston Medical Center is an accredited Chest Pain Center equipped to quickly identify heart attack symptoms and begin effective treatment. Additionally, our cardiac catheterization laboratory is equipped with advanced radiology equipment and a patient monitoring system.

While emergency rooms are designed to treat patients with critical conditions and life-threatening injuries, those experiencing minor injuries or illnesses may want to seek urgent care. HCA Houston is proud to be affiliated with CareNow®, our network of urgent care centers with 16 locations across the Houston area.
