Our neurologists work with our emergency room physicians and staff to quickly diagnose and treat those patients that come into the ER experiencing stroke symptoms. Our specialists use the latest medical therapies including thrombolysis— clot busting medications — to treat stroke patients.
Our fully staffed 20-bed Intensive Care Unit is also trained to provide critical care following the initial treatment of life threatening illnesses, such as a stroke. These emergency stroke treatments are available 24/7 at our Main Campus Emergency Room.
Neurological rehabilitation — Return to Function
After a neurological injury, physical therapy and occupational therapy are vital components to full recovery. Our team of therapists is skilled in the rehabilitation of a wide variety of neurological conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre, Parkinson's Disease, post concussive syndrome, spinal cord injury, and orthotic/prosthetic management.
Each one-on-one session with your therapist is typically one hour long. Your treatments are specifically tailored and individualized to allow you maximal recovery and achievement of your goals.
Our team of therapists is knowledgeable in a variety of treatment techniques, including body weight supported treadmill training, neurodevelopmental techniques, balance training, gait training, and more.
Our all-inclusive Spine Center provides both non-surgical and surgical treatment for back and neck problems. If surgery is necessary, we perform both traditional and minimally invasive spine procedures. Specialized OR Spine Teams work with the Spine Surgeons during surgery to provide the best care possible to our patients.
