Our oncology care team includes medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists; chemotherapy certified nurses; fellowship trained radiologists; social workers and nurse navigators. Our oncology nurse navigators are members of your multidisciplinary care team who help facilitate communication between your entire healthcare team, help coordinate appointments and transportation, help connect you and your family with community services and are there to address any other barriers you may face during your cancer journey.
HCA Houston Mainland is accredited by the American College of Radiology in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine and ultrasound.
We have also earned national accreditation with Silver Commendation from the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons for three years. The CoC accreditation program provides the framework for HCA Houston Mainland to continue improving its quality of patient care through various cancer-related programs that focus on the full spectrum of cancer care including prevention, early diagnosis, optimal treatment, rehabilitation, life-long follow-up for recurrent disease and palliative care.
Mainland oncology services
