We offer comprehensive physical, occupational and speech therapy services, provided by highly skilled, experienced specialists on an outpatient basis at two state-of-the-art facilities located in the North Cypress area.
In collaboration with HCA Houston North Cypress' certified Primary Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center and accredited Commission on Cancer program, our services include specialized rehabilitation programs to help our patients recover from chronic and serious health conditions such as cancer, joint replacement surgery, lymphedema, stroke and other neurological conditions.
North Cypress physical therapy and rehabilitation services
Using a multidisciplinary approach, our team is made up of highly skilled and specialty-trained physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists. Together, they work to target specific needs and formulate strategies tailored to each patient's goals.
Outpatient therapy and rehabilitation
Outpatient therapy and rehabilitation allows our patients to overcome physical, neurological and cognitive challenges without hospitalization and on a schedule more suited for them.
We provide outpatient physical therapy and occupational therapy services at two facilities: North Cypress Sports Medicine and Rehab Center - Main Campus and North Cypress Sports Medicine and Rehab Center - Towne Lake. Our speech therapy services are provided on our hospital campus in the North Cypress Professional Building.
Our patients have access to fully equipped gyms with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment, including anti-gravity treadmills and computerized strength and balance training systems. Our main campus location offers an aquatic rehab pool featuring an underwater treadmill.

Cancer rehabilitation
As part of our oncology services, HCA Houston North Cypress offers physical therapy and rehabilitation programs designed to decrease pain, restore movement and optimize healing during or after cancer treatment. Using a multidisciplinary approach, we provide coordinated and personalized rehabilitation for those diagnosed with various types of cancer, including breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and brain and nervous system cancer.
Additionally, we provide lymphedema management to address swelling due to blocked lymph channels. Our program is based on the latest in complex decongestive therapy and combines a variety of treatment methods to reduce swelling and other symptoms of lymphedema, including manual lymph drainage, compression therapy and exercise.
Neurological rehabilitation
Stroke (cerebrovascular accident) and other neurological diseases can have a significant impact on one's ability to speak, move, swallow or preform daily activities. At HCA Houston North Cypress, we use a combination of treatments and approaches to improve function and maximize recovery. This includes supported gait therapy and computerized balance systems to help patients prevent falls and improve independence, as well as advanced assessment tests to identify swallowing difficulties.
We care for patients recovering from or living with a wide range of injuries, disorders and diseases of the brain and nervous system, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis.
Orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
Whether recovering from a sports injury, a work-related injury or chronic orthopedic issue, our highly skilled and specialty-trained care team work together to create individualized treatment plans for our patients.
Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including anti-gravity treadmills to allow weight bearing activity with decreased pressure. Advanced technology allows us to pinpoint deficits to improve performance and maximize recovery. Our main campus location features an aquatic therapy pool which utilizes water to promote rehabilitation and healing by using buoyancy, compression and resistance for a comfortable, low impact approach to rehabilitation.
Vestibular and balance rehabilitation
Our vestibular rehabilitation program is an exercise-based approach to reducing dizziness and balance difficulties associated with inner ear problems. We care for patients with a wide variety of balance problems and disorders, including concussion, Meniere's disease, positional vertigo (BPPV), presbyastasis (dizziness associated with age) and tinnitus.
