Our neurological team works with our emergency room physicians and staff to quickly diagnose and treat those patients that come into the ER experiencing stroke symptoms. Our specialists use the latest medical therapies including thrombolysis, or clot busting medications, to treat stroke patients. These emergency stroke treatments are available 24/7 at the emergency room on the main campus of HCA Houston North Cypress.

In addition, our fully staffed 20-bed intensive care unit is also trained to provide critical care following the initial treatment of life threatening illnesses, such as stroke.
