Needle localization is performed to either biopsy or remove a suspicious mass or lump in the breast. The needle localization procedure allows a surgeon to use mammography to insert a wire to the area where the suspected mass or lump exists. The surgeon is then able to remove or biopsy the area. Needle localization can be performed through two approaches: ultrasound-guided or mammography-guided.
Ear, nose and throat surgery
Our skilled surgeons are able to perform the balloon sinuplasty surgery. This procedure uses a small, flexible balloon catheter that reaches into the nose in order to access the sinuses. Once the sinuses are reached, the balloon catheter is inflated in order to restructure the nasal passage that was previously blocked. This is a minimally invasive surgery that allows the surgeon to maintain the integrity of the sinus lining and restore normal function to the sinuses.
