La atención de urgencia brinda tratamiento para afecciones lo suficientemente graves como para acelerar un tratamiento médico, pero que no son motivo de una visita a la sala de emergencias. Accidents and illnesses often happen when we least expect them. HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest offers two urgent care centers with experienced emergency care teams who provide quality care for you and your family. At these advanced facilities, there are no appointments or referrals needed, and we accept most major insurance, including Medicare.
Urgent care conditions we treat
Deciding whether to wait and see your primary care physician or receive emergency care can be difficult. Our urgent care centers are designed to quickly treat illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening, including:
- Allergic reactions
- Dehydration
- Diarrhea
- Dislocations and sprains
- Ear, throat and sinus infections
- Eye and facial injuries
- Fever/weakness
- Fractures
- Minor burns
- Nausea and vomiting
- Nose bleeds
- Poison ivy and other rashes
- Respiratory illnesses
- Skin disease
- Strep throat

Treatments and testing we provide
In addition to the treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, we also provide a range of medical evaluations, imaging services and treatments, including:

Both of our CareNow® urgent care centers are open seven days a week, including on most holidays. Hours of operation include Monday through Sunday, from 9:00am to 6:00pm. If your condition worsens or requires more advanced care, we are able to provide an easy transition to our main hospital, HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, which features a comprehensive emergency center with Level II Trauma Center capabilities.
