Southeast Houston oncology services
The surgical oncologists at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast use the most advanced techniques and technologies to treat many types of cancer.
Types of care we offer
Here, your care team may include oncology and chemotherapy nurses, as well as medical, surgical and radiation oncologists. We specialize in performing the following surgical procedures:
- Breast surgery, including reconstruction
- Colorectal cancer surgery
- Thoracic surgery
If radiation therapy or chemotherapy is recommended as a form of treatment, we offer inpatient chemotherapy. We also have a in-house radiation center, where our radiation oncologists use intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and high-dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy to deliver highly localized doses of radiation to a tumor.
As a comprehensive breast center, we provide advanced breast screening and diagnostic services through our department, Solis Mammography. Additionally, our magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine and ultrasound programs are accredited by the American College of Radiology, meaning our teams are properly trained and adhere to patient safety protocols.
If you are seeking cancer treatment or need a second opinion about treatment options, we invite you to make an appointment with one of our radiation oncologists or medical oncologists.
