North Cypress names Wesley Bamburg as chief operating officer

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is pleased to announce the appointment of Wesley Bamburg as Chief Operating Officer effective July 8, 2024. Bamburg, a 10-year veteran of HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Bamburg most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Ethics and Compliance Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. During his tenure, Bamburg was instrumental in standardizing the hospital’s operations and led the strategic execution of Master Campus Expansion Plan. Under his guidance, the hospital experienced exponential growth in key areas such as Cardiovascular, Cath Lab, Robotics, Colorectal and Surgical Oncology.

Bamburg's dedication to healthcare excellence extends beyond his professional career. He has been actively involved with the American Heart Association, serving as the Executives with Heart Chair for the past two years. His commitment to continuous learning and professional development is evident through his board certification in healthcare management and recognition as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
