Jeanna Bamburg, FACHE
Chief Executive Officer
Jeanna Bamburg, CEO, has been a member of the HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast team for 20 years. Prior to working with HCA, Bamburg worked for other healthcare organizations and brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Over these years, she has acquired a strong knowledge of Southeast Harris County and is happy to have collaborative relationships with medical staff and employees of the Bayshore and East Houston campuses as well as key community leaders and stakeholders.
Bamburg received her Bachelor's Degree and MBA from the University of Houston, Clear Lake. She has achieved the level of Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves as President for the Southeast Texas Chapter. She is also a 2015 graduate of the Texas Hospital Association Leadership Fellows Class.
Bamburg has a strong history of community service. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Pasadena Rotary Club and a member of the Board of Directors for the San Jacinto College Foundation.
Dr. Sari Nabulsi
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Sari Nabulsi, joined the leadership team in the role of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in March 2020. Dr. Nabulsi is a board-certified pediatrician and has served in various physician executive roles in the Midland/Odessa market including two years most recently as CMO at a 420-bed acute care facility.
Dr. Nabulsi completed his medical education at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan and his pediatric residency at Christ Hospital and Medical Center, University of Illinois and has practiced both as a community provider and a pediatric hospitalist for many years. Given a desire to serve patients in an expanded role, Dr. Nabulsi earned his Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University with a concentration in Healthcare Administration.
He then furthered his physician executive education by becoming a Certified Physician Executive from the American Association of Physician Leadership and also earned a Certificate in Medical Management and Healthcare Administration from Rice University. Along with his clinical board certification, Dr. Nabulsi is certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physician Organization.
Josiah De La Garza
Chief Operating Officer
Josiah De La Garza is the Chief Operating Officer for HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. Josiah came from Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Sunnyvale, a joint venture hospital with Tenet Healthcare, where he has served as the Chief Operating Officer since 2014. In Josiah's 13 years with Tenet Healthcare, he has also worked as an Associate Administrator, Director of Business Development and member of the Regional Transformation Team, a team which focuses on quality improvement processes for many hospitals.
Early in Josiah's career, he worked with HCA as a Patient Access Director, Ethics & Compliance Officer and Administrative Resident at West Houston, Clear Lake and East Houston Regional Medical Center.
Josiah has earned a Master of Healthcare Administration/Master of Business Administration from University of Houston-Clear Lake along with a Bachelor of Science from University of Texas at San Antonio. Josiah is active in the American College of Healthcare Executives and has completed the Leadership Fellows Program with the Texas Hospital Association.
Chief Financial Officer
Wayne Gordon joined HCA Houston Healthcare as Chief Financial Officer in September 2017 and has also served as the Ethics and Compliance Officer since July 2018. Mr. Gordon has over thirty-five years of experience as a healthcare executive with multiple organizations in three states including fourteen years with HCA in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Wayne is a native of Vicksburg, MS, and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Chief Nursing Officer
Emily Weber serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast. In this role, she oversees the nursing department and its patient care services and operations, regulatory standards and compliance.
Dr. Weber joined HCA Houston Southeast in 2019 as the assistant chief nursing officer. She previously served in various leadership roles at Texas Children's Hospital for nearly 20 years. She is passionate about providing patients with compassionate and high-quality care. Dr. Weber's leadership motto is, "Dream big, work hard and serve others."
She earned her doctor of nursing practice degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and her master's degree in nursing from Texas Woman's University. Dr. Weber is also nurse executive advanced board certified, which is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification.
