Types of care we offer
The Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located across the street from HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast, offering extended hours to accommodate your busy schedule. Here, you can access a gym equipped with exercise equipment, such as balance and gait trainers, as well as suspension equipment, which helps build strength and improve balance.
They provide evaluations and treatments for sports-related injuries for athletes at all levels, including grade school and high school. We also offer balance and fall assessments, back and work injury education, functional movement screenings and functional capacity assessments. Additionally, we provide:
- Targeted therapy and rehabilitation – Offered in an outpatient setting, our speech-language pathologists provide evaluations and treatment for speech, language and swallowing disorders. While our physical therapists help reduce pain and improve strength and mobility, our occupational therapists use therapeutic techniques and functional tasks to help you restore maximum function.
- Women's care – Our team of physical and occupational therapists also specialize in women's health, including pelvic floor disorders, the management of lymphedema and prenatal and postnatal care. Therapists start with an evaluation to identify problem areas, then provide individualized treatment for correcting and minimizing them.
