Advanced diagnostic and lab testing

With two convenient locations to choose from, diagnostic testing has never been easier. HCA Houston Healthcare West and the Sugar Land Diagnostic Center, both accredited by the American College of Radiology, offer the latest imaging techniques and advanced equipment, ensuring that patients receive the most accurate results in several specialties.

In addition, our on-site laboratory at HCA Houston West, which is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, accommodates standard or specialized lab requests. The Sugar Land Diagnostic Center offers collection for all tests performed at HCA Houston West as well as for Quest Diagnostics, LabCorp and Clinical Pathology Laboratories. In addition, electrocardiogram (EKG) services are offered at the Sugar Land Diagnostic Center lab.

Our diagnostic services at the Sugar Land Diagnostic Center are complemented by treatment options at the Sugar Land Cancer Center, which are departments of HCA Houston West. We provide a variety of services, such as:

  • Positron emission tomography (PET) and computerized tomography (CT) scans
  • Radiology imaging: routine X-rays and advanced procedures
  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
  • Ultrasound: diagnostic, cardiac and vascular imaging
  • CT scans: routine and computed tomography angiography (CTA) exams
  • Nuclear imaging: cardiac and whole body imaging
  • EKG services
  • Radiation therapy services for the treatment of most cancers

Sugar Land Diagnostic Center and Sugar Land Cancer Center are both departments of HCA Houston West and are conveniently located within a short distance from the hospital in Sugar Land, Texas at the intersection of Hwy 59 South and Williams Trace Boulevard.
