The Wound Healing Center at HCA Houston Healthcare West is a specialized service for the comprehensive treatment of patients with chronic or complex wounds. Our team of medical experts is certified by the American Board of Wound Management.
We provide a holistic approach to wound care that addresses the healthcare needs of patients, while including participation from families and caregivers.

Our comprehensive treatment includes non-healing, acute, traumatic, chronic and complex wounds, such as:
- Diabetic ulcerations
- Ischemic wounds
- Minor burns
- Pressure ulcers
- Radiation injuries
- Spider bites
- Surgical wounds
- Vascular disorders
- Venous insufficiency ulcers
In addition to offering proven techniques for healing and relief, we consistently attend educational seminars and integrate the latest research in order to provide cutting-edge treatments, which include:
- Bioengineered skin and/or skin substitutes reduce the need for skin grafts
- Negative-pressure wound therapy promotes and enhances healing
- Total-contact casting offloads or limits the use of an ulcerative foot

Located on the first floor of the Boulevard Medical Plaza building at 12606 West Houston Center Boulevard, the Wound Healing Center offers easy wheelchair and stretcher access. We are open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
