The Woman's Hospital of Texas
The Adult Hospital Tour is a great way for you and your family to visit our facility together in preparation for your labor and delivery journey. This will include a site tour as we walk you through each of the essential areas of the hospital that you can expect to visit during your stay with us, as well as other areas that are helpful to be familiar with. The Woman's Hospital of Texas
Would you know what do if your baby stopped breathing? In this class you will learn and practice CPR for the infant up to 1-year of age. It also teaches what to do for an infant who is choking and general safety tips for the household with a new baby. It is vital information for any caregiver, including grandparents and babysitters.<br><br>This is the American Heart Association's "Friends and Family" course. It does not require a test and does not confer a certification. You will receive an AHA CPR book and safety information to take home.<br><br>NICU parents are the only ones allowed to be overbooked.
The Woman's Hospital of Texas
The Breastfeeding Basics Class will cover basic steps to take in the hospital in order to get breastfeeding off to the best start; as well as information on how to be successful for the first year or more. We will also cover common hurdles, as well as myths and misconceptions.
