The North Cypress Cancer Center is happy to announce its partnership with the Langham Creek Family YMCA in conjunction with the LIVESTRONG Foundation to help cancer survivors achieve their health goals through a free, 12-week program. The Langham Creek Family YMCA is offering this special program to North Cypress Cancer Center patients. This program will be comprised of a complimentary 12-week family membership, two 90 minute sessions a week, and a small group environment with several instructors. The next program runs from September 14th thru December 9th. It serves to help survivors regain their spirits, strengthen their minds and bodies, and use physical activity to improve their wellbeing. “We are thrilled and so appreciative to the Langham Creek YMCA for reaching out to North Cypress to offer this to our patients undergoing cancer treatment,” states Janet Kantenberger, North Cypress Cancer Center Liaison and Oncology Social Worker.
Those wishing to participate must have their physician’s approval and will meet with a Wellness Coach before the program begins. The program will take place at Langham Creek Family YMCA, located on 16275 Longenbaugh Dr. near the Copperfield area.
