Dr. Porat serves as the "Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery" at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center and "Houston Heart". Prior to attaining this position, he served as a professor with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery with the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the McGovern Medical School.
